Casumo jackpot games
Casumo jackpot games sit inside a lobby of 6,000+ titles, but Casumo doesn't publish a jackpot list we could confirm, so the useful questions are how jackpot slots work, what the pot costs you in RTP and what UK rules protect you. This page answers those with real figures and pound examples.
Key takeaways
- Casumo lists 6,000+ games but publishes no jackpot list we could confirm, so check the lobby for what is live.
- Jackpot slots usually pay less back from ordinary spins because part of every stake feeds the pot.
- UK rules make the jackpot rules, seed value and current pot visible before you play.
- Smaller stakes usually mean a smaller chance at the pot, and the £5 or £2 slot stake limit still applies.
- No jackpot is ever due: each spin is independent.

Casumo jackpot games: what we can confirm
Casumo's UK homepage (opens in a new tab) says the site carries 6,000+ games, and its app listings describe slots, live casino and Reel Races. What Casumo doesn't publish in any source we could check is a fixed list of jackpot titles, the jackpot networks it connects to, or current pot sizes. Jackpot line-ups also change as games are added and removed, so any list printed here would go stale.
So rather than guess, this guide explains the kinds of jackpot game a large UK lobby normally carries, uses verified figures for jackpot slots we review elsewhere on the site, and shows you how to check each game inside Casumo before you stake a penny. For the wider picture of the brand, see our full Casumo casino review, and for the slot side of the lobby, our guide to Casumo slots.
Where this page names a jackpot slot, it is an example of how that type of game works. It is not a claim that Casumo carries it. Search the Casumo lobby to see what is live today.
Types of jackpot game you may meet at Casumo
"Jackpot" covers three quite different designs, and they cost you in different ways. A progressive jackpot grows with play; a fixed jackpot is a set multiple of your stake written into the paytable; and a network jackpot is a progressive shared across many casinos, which is why its pot can climb into the millions.
| Type | How the prize builds | Example on our site |
|---|---|---|
| Network progressive | A slice of every qualifying stake, at every linked casino, feeds one shared pot | Mega Moolah (Games Global) |
| Linked studio progressive | Several games from one studio share pots | Genie Jackpots (Blueprint's Jackpot King) |
| Multi-tier progressive in one game family | Several pots of rising size, often picked from a wheel or coin game | Age of the Gods (Playtech) |
| Fixed jackpot | A set prize or multiple of the stake that doesn't grow | Jackpot symbols in many hold-and-win slots |
Games Global's WowPot! and Mega Moolah are separate network jackpots, and Blueprint's Jackpot King links a wide range of Blueprint titles to one shared pool. Our studio pages for Games Global and Blueprint Gaming cover those families in more depth.
Casumo jackpot slots RTP: what the pot costs you
Every progressive pot is paid for by the players. A share of each stake goes into the jackpot instead of into ordinary line wins, so the return from regular spins is usually lower than on a standard slot. The figure to look at is the RTP, and in particular whether it includes the jackpot contribution or leaves it out.
| Slot | Published RTP | Average cost per £100 staked |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Fortune | 96.59% (includes jackpot share) | £3.41 |
| Genie Jackpots | 96.49% | £3.51 |
| Age of the Gods | 95.02% (includes jackpot share) | £4.98 |
| King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas (Jackpot King version) | 94.99% | £5.01 |
| Jackpot Giant | 94.22% | £5.78 |
| The Finer Reels of Life WowPot | 92.01% (includes jackpot share) | £7.99 |
| Mega Moolah 4Tune Reels | 90.3% (includes 5.3% jackpot share) | £9.70 |
| Mega Moolah | 88.12% base game, jackpot share excluded | £11.88 from base-game play |
The arithmetic is simple: cost = amount staked × (100% − RTP). The spread is wide. £100 through a 96.59% game costs £3.41 on average, while the same £100 through a game returning 90.3% costs £9.70, almost three times as much, and most of the difference is money set aside for a pot very few players will ever win. King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas shows the trade neatly: its standard version is listed at 96%, the Jackpot King version at 94.99%.
How a progressive jackpot grows and resets
A progressive starts at a seed value set by the game. After that, a fixed share of each qualifying stake is added. If 1% of every stake feeds the pot, £100,000 of play across the network adds £1,000. When someone triggers the jackpot, it drops back to its seed and starts climbing again.
That's why the effective return of a progressive is lower when the pot sits near its seed and higher when it has grown large. Wizard of Odds' slots guide (opens in a new tab) notes that a few progressives have a known break-even point where the total return reaches about 100%, but for most slots the contribution rate isn't published, so you can't work that out. Treat any big pot as entertainment, not as a sign of value. Our page on progressive jackpot odds works through the maths.
Jackpot odds, stake size and the UK slot limit
The Gambling Commission's technical standard for jackpots says the chance of winning a jackpot should rise in line with how much you contribute. In practice, a 20p spin usually has a smaller chance at the top prize than a £2 spin on the same game. The game rules tell you exactly how stake size affects eligibility.
There is a ceiling on how far you can push that. Online slots in Great Britain are capped at £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over (since 9 April 2025) and £2 for those aged 18 to 24 (since 21 May 2025). Those slot stake limits apply to jackpot slots just like any other slot, as the Commission's stake limit guidance (opens in a new tab) confirms.
| Stake per spin | Spins from £20 | Average cost of those spins | Jackpot chance per spin |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10p | 200 | £1.60 | Lowest of the three |
| 50p | 40 | £1.60 | Higher than at 10p |
| £2 | 10 | £1.60 | Highest of the three |
All three rows cost the same on average, because you stake £20 in each case. What changes is how long the money lasts and how the outcomes spread. Bigger stakes give a better shot at the pot per spin but run out far faster, which is the core of slot volatility.
UK rules on online jackpot games
Casumo is run by Recro Limited under Gambling Commission account 61549, so its jackpot games must meet the Commission's remote technical standards. Section RTS 9 on progressive jackpot systems says:
- the jackpot rules must be clearly available before you commit to play, and must describe how the pot is funded and what its seed and any ceiling values are;
- the jackpot system's RTP should be displayed;
- if you aren't eligible for a game's jackpot, that must be made clear;
- eligible players should be able to see current jackpot values, updated as often as practicable;
- a winner should be told immediately after the jackpot is triggered;
- if a jackpot is withdrawn, contributions must be returned fairly, with priority to the players who made them.
You can read the standard itself on the Gambling Commission's RTS 9 page (opens in a new tab). The general slot design rules also apply: no autoplay, at least 2.5 seconds per spin, and no turbo or slam-stop. Since a Gambling Commission warning in January 2020, feature buy-ins are not offered to British players, so you can't pay to jump straight into a jackpot bonus round.
How to find and check a jackpot game at Casumo
Because the line-up changes, the reliable approach is to check each game yourself before you play it. This takes a couple of minutes.
- Log in and use the lobby search or category filters to look for jackpot games; Casumo's app also offers Quick Launch of the last four slots you played.
- Open the game and find the information or help screen before you spin.
- Read the RTP and note whether it includes the jackpot contribution.
- Read the jackpot rules: seed value, any ceiling, and whether your stake level is eligible for every tier.
- Check the current pot values shown in the game.
- Set your stake and a session budget, then stop when the budget is gone.
If the help screen is unclear, Casumo's UK support team can be reached at hey@casumo.com between 7:00 and 23:00 UK time. Our guide to Casumo casino games shows how the rest of the lobby compares on cost.
Budgeting for Casumo jackpot games
Jackpot slots tend to pay out less often in the base game, which means a budget can drain quickly. A worked example: you set £30 for a session and pick a game returning 92% at 30p a spin. That's 100 spins for the full £30, with an average cost of 8% × £30 = £2.40. In real sessions the result spreads widely: most of the time you'll finish below £30, occasionally above it, and the jackpot itself is extremely unlikely in any one session.
Compare that with a 96.5% game at the same stake: the average cost of 100 spins falls to £1.05. Over a year of weekly sessions the gap becomes real money. If chasing a large pot is part of the fun, a sensible plan is to split the budget and play the jackpot game for only part of it. Casumo, like every UK operator, must prompt you to set a deposit limit before your first deposit, and it's worth using it.
If you land a jackpot at Casumo: checks and payment
A large win triggers the same withdrawal process as any other. Casumo's withdrawal policy (opens in a new tab) says payments can be made only to the registered account holder, that verification must be completed to its reasonable satisfaction, and that larger payouts can be subject to extra checks. It also says a withdrawal should be approved or denied within three days, and that it won't block a withdrawal for information it could have asked for earlier, such as at registration.
Once approved, Casumo lists PayPal, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter as paying instantly after approval, cards in up to 2 days and bank transfer in up to 5 days. There's no fee on withdrawals of £10 or more. Winnings aren't taxed for UK players. Our pages on Casumo ID verification, Casumo withdrawal times and how jackpots are paid out cover the details.
Jackpot myths worth dropping
- "The pot is huge, so it must be about to drop." Each spin is independent. A pot that hasn't paid for months is no more likely to pay on your next spin; that's the gambler's fallacy.
- "Someone just won, so the game is cold." The odds per spin are the same straight after a win as at any other time.
- "Jackpot slots pay better." They usually pay back less from ordinary spins, because part of every stake funds the pot.
- "Night-time or quiet periods are luckier." Online slots use certified random number generators; the time of day makes no difference.

Casumo jackpot games and the welcome offer
Casumo's welcome offer is a matched deposit bonus, not a jackpot promotion, and whether jackpot slots count towards it depends on the bonus terms. New customers aged 18+ can get a 50% bonus up to £100 on a first deposit of at least £20, with opt-in required. The bonus must be wagered 10x within 7 days, the maximum bet is £5 while the bonus is active, and game, play and payment restrictions apply, so check whether jackpot titles are excluded before you play them with bonus funds. Terms apply. Our Casumo welcome bonus guide covers the full terms.

Frequently asked questions
Does Casumo have jackpot games?
Casumo's lobby holds 6,000+ games, and a lobby that size normally includes progressive and fixed-jackpot slots, but Casumo doesn't publish a jackpot list we could confirm. Titles and networks change over time, so the safe approach is to search the lobby and open each game's help screen to see its jackpot rules, RTP and current pot. Our Casumo slots guide explains how to judge any slot you find there, jackpot or not.
What is the RTP of jackpot slots at Casumo?
It depends on the game, and jackpot slots often return less from ordinary spins. Verified examples range from 96.59% for Divine Fortune, including the jackpot share, down to 88.12% for Mega Moolah's base game with the jackpot share excluded. Each game shows its RTP in the help screen, and UK rules require it to be displayed. Our RTP explained page shows how to turn any RTP into an average cost in pounds.
Are progressive jackpots worth playing?
Only as entertainment, because the pot is funded by a slice of every stake and the chance of winning it on any spin is tiny. You usually accept a lower return from regular spins in exchange for a remote shot at a large prize. If that trade appeals, keep stakes and sessions small. Our page on progressive jackpot odds works through why the effective return changes with the size of the pot.
Can I play jackpot slots with the Casumo bonus?
Possibly, but check the terms first, because the bonus comes with game, play and payment restrictions. The welcome offer is a 50% bonus up to £100 on a first deposit of at least £20, with 10x wagering within 7 days and a £5 maximum bet while the bonus is active. Some casinos exclude jackpot games from bonus play, so read the eligible-games list. Our Casumo welcome bonus guide has the full terms.
Does a bigger stake improve my jackpot chances?
Usually yes, because UK standards say jackpot chances should rise with the amount you contribute, but bigger stakes also burn through a budget faster. The average cost per pound staked stays the same, set by the RTP. Online slots are capped at £5 a spin for over-25s and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds. See our guide to UK slot stake limits for the dates and details of those caps.
Is a jackpot ever due to pay out?
No, a jackpot is never due, however long it has gone without paying or however large it has grown. Each spin is decided by a certified random number generator and has no memory of earlier results. The pot grows because more people are playing, not because a win is getting closer. Our article on the gambler's fallacy explains why that feeling is so persuasive and why it's wrong.
How quickly would Casumo pay a jackpot win?
Casumo's withdrawal policy says a withdrawal should be approved or denied within three days, though large payouts can face extra verification. After approval, e-wallets such as PayPal and Skrill are listed as instant, cards up to 2 days and bank transfer up to 5 days. Payments go only to the registered account holder. Our Casumo withdrawal times page breaks this down by method, including the £3 fee on withdrawals under £10.
Do I pay tax on a jackpot won at Casumo?
No, gambling winnings aren't taxed for UK players, whatever the size of the win. The tax side is handled by operators, who pay remote gaming duty, which rose from 21% to 40% on 1 April 2026. You keep the full amount you're paid. Our answer on whether online casino winnings are taxed in the UK covers the details, including what happens if you move winnings into savings.
