Skrill casinos in the UK
Skrill casinos let you pay in and cash out through an e-wallet, so the casino sees your Skrill account rather than your bank card. Among our five partners, Casumo names Skrill for both deposits and withdrawals, but Coral, Ladbrokes and 10bet exclude Skrill deposits from their welcome offers, so read the payment terms before you load a penny.

How Skrill casinos work
Skrill is an e-wallet: an online account that holds money in pounds and sends it on your instruction. You open the wallet with Skrill, top it up from your bank account or a debit card, and then choose Skrill in the casino cashier. The casino receives the money from Skrill, so your card number never reaches the gambling site. When you cash out, the winnings land back in the wallet and you move them to your bank from there.
That extra hop is the whole point and the whole catch. It keeps card details in one place and gives you a separate pot of gambling money, but it also adds a second set of terms, a second set of fees and, at most UK operators, a reason your deposit won’t trigger a welcome offer. Our guide to casino payment methods compares Skrill with cards, bank payments and prepaid codes, and the e-wallet casinos page puts it alongside PayPal and other wallets.
Paysafe also offers Rapid Transfer, an instant bank transfer option inside the Paysafe Group for moving money from a bank account into a Skrill or Neteller wallet. It speeds up loading the wallet; it doesn’t change how the casino treats the payment.
Who runs Skrill and how your money is protected
Skrill is a trading name of Paysafe Financial Services Limited. Its Skrill account terms of use (opens in a new tab) say the UK account is run in the United Kingdom under English law, that the company is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (e-money register number 900015), and that the Financial Services Compensation Scheme does not apply to a Skrill account. The same terms ban payments for unlicensed or illegal gambling.
When you gamble through Skrill, your money sits in two places at different times, and each has its own protection. The casino must tell you how it protects customer balances, which our page on how UK casinos protect customer funds explains.
| Where the money is | Who holds it | Who regulates it | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skrill wallet | Paysafe Financial Services Limited | FCA (e-money) | Skrill’s fees page and terms; no FSCS cover |
| Casino account | The licensed operator | Gambling Commission | The casino’s customer-funds rating in its terms |
| In transit back to you | Casino, then Skrill | Both, in turn | The casino’s approval time and Skrill’s transfer terms |
Which UK partner casinos list Skrill
Only one of our five partner casinos names Skrill on its own pages. Casumo’s UK homepage (opens in a new tab) lists Skrill among its deposit methods and in its withdrawal-time table. 10bet’s withdrawal help article (opens in a new tab) names e-wallets as a withdrawal category without listing brands; a third-party review lists Skrill for deposits there. Coral’s and Ladbrokes’ help centres don’t mention Skrill at all, and PlayOJO’s help page names debit cards, Payz, Apple Pay and Trustly rather than Skrill.
| Casino | Skrill deposits | Skrill withdrawals | Published payout time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casumo | Yes | Yes | Instantly after approval; approval within 3 days |
| 10bet | Listed in a third-party review | E-wallets named, brands not listed | Up to 2 business days for e-wallets |
| Coral | Not published | Not published | Not published for Skrill |
| Ladbrokes | Not published | Not published | Not published for Skrill |
| PlayOJO | Not named on help page | Not named on help page | Check the cashier |
Cashier menus change. If Skrill matters to you, open the casino’s cashier after signing up and check before you deposit, rather than relying on any list, ours included.
Skrill casinos and welcome offers
Payment exclusions are the biggest practical difference between Skrill and a debit card. Coral’s terms say Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify for its 100 spins. Ladbrokes names prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers. 10bet excludes Skrill and Neteller deposits from its 100% match. Casumo says game, play and payment restrictions apply, without naming methods in our checked data.
| Offer | Skrill qualifies? | What the terms say |
|---|---|---|
| Coral: bet £10 on slots, get 100 free spins | No | Skrill named among excluded methods |
| Ladbrokes: play £10 on slots, get up to 500 free spins | No | Skrill named among excluded methods |
| 10bet: 100% bonus up to £25 | No | Skrill and Neteller deposits excluded |
| Casumo: 50% bonus up to £100 | Check | Payment restrictions apply |
| PlayOJO: 80 free spins, first deposit £10+ | Check | Read the offer terms for payment rules |
Operators don’t explain these exclusions in the terms. Our answer to why some payment methods are excluded from bonuses covers the usual reasons, and the wider list sits on our payment method exclusions page. The Advertising Standards Authority has treated an excluded payment method as a significant condition: in a July 2024 ruling it found an exclusion buried in full terms wasn’t prominent enough. That is why we put the exclusion right next to each offer.
What gambling through Skrill really costs
There are three layers of cost: the wallet’s fees, the casino’s fees and the games themselves. Skrill’s terms say sending payments carries fees, including currency conversion, with amounts set out on its fees page, so check that page before you load money. On the casino side, Casumo charges £3 on withdrawals below £10 and nothing at £10 or more, while Coral and Ladbrokes say they charge no withdrawal fees.
The game costs dwarf the payment costs over time. Take a £50 Skrill deposit played on European roulette at £1 a spin. The single-zero wheel has 37 pockets and an even-money bet pays as if there were 36, giving a house edge of 1/37, about 2.70%. Each £1 spin costs about 2.7p on average, so 300 spins, or £300 of total stakes, cost about £8.10 on average. A real session can land far above or below that, which our page on expected value explains.
| Cost | Who charges it | Amount in this example |
|---|---|---|
| Loading the wallet | Skrill | See Skrill’s fees page |
| Game cost: 300 spins at £1, 2.70% edge | The game’s maths | About £8.10 on average |
| Withdrawing £8 at Casumo | Casumo | £3 (37.5% of the £8) |
| Withdrawing £10 or more at Casumo | Casumo | £0 |
| Moving money from Skrill to your bank | Skrill | See Skrill’s fees page |
The £8 line shows why small withdrawals deserve a second look: at Casumo, waiting until the balance reaches £10 avoids the fee entirely. Fee rules differ at each partner, so check the cashier before you request a small payout.
How to deposit at a Skrill casino
- Register with a UK-licensed casino and complete its age and identity checks; the law requires this before you can deposit or play.
- Set a deposit limit when the casino prompts you before your first deposit.
- Top up your Skrill wallet from a debit card or bank account, never a credit card.
- Open the casino cashier, choose Skrill and type the amount.
- Log in to Skrill in the pop-up or app and approve the payment.
- Check the casino balance, and note that a Skrill deposit won’t count towards Coral, Ladbrokes or 10bet welcome offers.
Casumo’s minimum deposit is £10 for every payment method, while its welcome offer needs £20. Our minimum deposit guide covers the other partners.
Skrill casino withdrawals: approval, speed and closed loop
A withdrawal has two clocks: the casino’s approval and the payment itself. Casumo’s homepage says withdrawals are reviewed and processed within a matter of hours, and its withdrawal policy says they’re approved or denied within 3 days; once approved, Skrill payouts go through instantly. 10bet’s help centre gives up to 2 business days for e-wallets, and our withdrawal times guide puts these side by side.
Most casinos pay winnings back to the method you deposited with where they can, a practice called closed loop. PlayOJO says withdrawals go back to the deposit method where possible, and Coral and Ladbrokes describe a closed-loop policy. In practice, a Skrill deposit usually means a Skrill withdrawal, and a card deposit usually means a card withdrawal.
Once you ask to withdraw, the casino can’t offer you the option to cancel and play the money instead. That reverse-withdrawal ban (technical standard RTS 14B) has applied to every online operator since 31 October 2021. If a payout seems stuck, read why a casino withdrawal can be pending.
UK rules that apply to Skrill casinos
Since 14 April 2020, licensed operators haven’t been allowed to take gambling payments by credit card, including credit card payments routed through a money service business (licence condition 6.1.2). The Gambling Commission’s guide to gambling with a credit card (opens in a new tab) says a business accepting an e-wallet such as Skrill should make sure the money wasn’t loaded from a credit card. Skrill’s own terms don’t mention this; the duty sits with the casino. Our credit card ban page has the detail.
- Age and identity must be verified before you deposit, even to use a bonus.
- Since 31 October 2025, casinos must prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit.
- Since 28 February 2025, net deposits above £150 in a rolling 30 days trigger a financial vulnerability check against public records.
- Winnings aren’t taxed for UK players, whichever method pays them out.
Skrill, bank blocks and keeping spending in check
A wallet can sit between your bank and the casino, which matters if you rely on a bank gambling block. Revolut, for example, says its block covers card payments identified as gambling and doesn’t affect payments through third-party apps. A block on your card may therefore not stop money reaching a casino through an e-wallet. Our bank gambling blocks guide lists what each bank’s tool covers.
The most reliable controls sit at the casino and across the industry: deposit limits set on your account, time-outs and GAMSTOP self-exclusion, which covers every GB-licensed gambling site. If gambling stops feeling like paid entertainment, the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 is free and open 24/7.

Frequently asked questions
Which UK casinos accept Skrill?
Among our partners, Casumo is the one that names Skrill for both deposits and withdrawals on its own UK site. 10bet’s help centre mentions e-wallets for withdrawals without naming brands, and a third-party review lists Skrill deposits there. Coral and Ladbrokes don’t list Skrill in their help centres, and PlayOJO’s help page doesn’t name it either. Always check the cashier after signing up. Our payment methods hub compares the alternatives, and Casumo’s payments page covers its full list.
Can I get a casino welcome bonus with Skrill?
Usually not with our partners. Coral, Ladbrokes and 10bet all name Skrill among the deposit methods that don’t qualify for their welcome offers, and Casumo says payment restrictions apply. If you want an offer, use a payment method its terms accept, and read the full terms first. Our welcome bonus guide explains how these offers work, and payment method exclusions lists the methods casinos commonly leave out.
Is Skrill safe for casino payments?
Skrill is run by Paysafe Financial Services Limited, which is authorised by the FCA as an e-money issuer, register number 900015. That means it’s regulated, but its terms state that the FSCS doesn’t cover a Skrill account, so it isn’t the same as a bank deposit. Use it only with UK-licensed casinos; Skrill bans payments for unlicensed gambling. Our guide to checking a casino licence shows how to confirm an operator is licensed.
How long do Skrill casino withdrawals take?
It depends on the casino’s approval time more than on Skrill. Casumo says withdrawals are approved or denied within 3 days, often within hours, and Skrill payouts then go through instantly. 10bet gives up to 2 business days for e-wallet withdrawals. Moving money onward from Skrill to your bank is a separate step under Skrill’s terms. See how long casino withdrawals take and our Casumo withdrawals page for detail.
Does Skrill charge fees for gambling payments?
Skrill’s terms say sending payments carries fees, including currency conversion, and list the amounts on its fees page, so check that page before you load money. The casino may also charge: Casumo takes £3 on withdrawals under £10, while Coral and Ladbrokes say they charge no withdrawal fees. Bigger than any fee, though, is the house edge on the games you play. Our withdrawal fees page and house edge guide explain both.
Can I load Skrill with a credit card and then gamble?
No. Since 14 April 2020, UK-licensed operators can’t accept gambling payments made by credit card, and that includes money loaded into an e-wallet from a credit card. The Gambling Commission says a casino accepting Skrill should make sure the funds didn’t come from a credit card. Top up from a debit card or bank account instead. Our credit card ban explainer covers the rule, and debit card casinos covers the most common alternative.
Is Skrill the same company as Neteller?
Both wallets are run by Paysafe Financial Services Limited under the same FCA number, 900015, and Paysafe’s Rapid Transfer service can load either one from a bank account. They’re separate products with separate accounts and terms, though, and casinos list them separately. Casumo, for example, names Skrill for deposits but lists Neteller only in its withdrawal table. Our Neteller casinos page covers the sister wallet, and e-wallet casinos compares both.
Can I withdraw to Skrill if I deposited by card?
Usually not. Most UK casinos pay winnings back to the method you deposited with where possible, so a card deposit normally means a card withdrawal. PlayOJO says withdrawals go back to the deposit method where possible, and Coral and Ladbrokes run a closed-loop policy. If you want winnings in Skrill, deposit with Skrill at a casino that pays out to it. Our guide on how to withdraw explains the process, and pending withdrawals covers delays.
